Hmm. seems ako ang perfect example ng pagpapapayat. All-natural and guilt-free. Althpugh I’ve been shunned by many of my friends as being “unhealthy skinny”, wala na akong magawa kasi ganito talaga ang madalas na kinahihinatnan ng katawan ko, not sexy, kasi naniniwala din ako na ang pagiging sexy eh, galing sa nagdadala yan.
What I’m not aware of is that, nag-ddiet pala ako. To share some of my unknown secrets, eto:
1. avoid salty foods. while hindi maiiwasan ang salt and patis sa daily consumption naten, wag na rin itong gawing sawsawan. I also rarely use soy sauce as a sawsawan, I’d go for spiced vinegar. bakit hindi ang maalat? kasi nagreretain ito ng tubig at nag-ccause ng cellulites. not good.hehe. I’m also having slight difficulties dito, kasi favorite ko noodles. ulk, loaded ng salt yun at msg.
2.avoid soda, or iced tea. as all of you may know, these stuffs are loaded with sugar. tubig pa ren.
3. Watch what you eat. and be damned conscious of it. tuwing kakain ako, I avoid going on serious conversations, napupunta kasi to sa kasarapan ng kain, which might opt you to load your plate ulit with kanin.hehehe. Iwasan pati na ibang tao ang maglalagay ng kanin sa pinggan mo.
4. If you’re 80% full, halt. Ngayon, mas mahirap to. minsan kasi, sa ating mga pinoy, bibihira tyong tumigil sa pagkain unless na nag-burp na tyo. This is a style used by people from the okinawans. yes, kaya sila tumatanda hanggang 100+years old e dahil sa principle na to. However, there is a sure easy way to achieve this. Uminom ng tubig while eating. and lots of it. mas mabubusog ka agad.
5. go for veggie-day meals. dito, every weekend, hindi kami loaded sa meat tuwing lunch. madalas, gulay and fish mula breakfast to dinner(minsan same ulam), pero tuwing weekend lang. hehehehe.
6.eat breakfast.
7.change eating preferences. tuwing merienda, ano kinakain mo? ako, wheat bread sandwich with spiced canned spanish sardines. kapag naka-harap sa pc, mostly fruit ang kasama ko. Gawin pating reward sa sarili si jolibee at ang ibang fast food. at least, pag-naka jolibee ka, masayang masaya ka na(dahil miss mo na yun), at nag cut ka pa ng calories.(at pera)
8. go oriental. kapag may konting pera to spare for an chinese meal, try it. It may be greasy and all, pero gaano kayo kadalas nakakakita ng matabang matabang intsik(hindi fil-chinese, the real, authentic ones)? madalang diba? kasi, they use the healthiest stuff, or better yet, try korean food ,na mas madali nang mahanap ngayon kasi naglipana na sila. hindi sila ganun kakikinis at healthy ng walang rason. I’ve heard once na they drink tomato juice as a daily part of their diet! yak! parng naglaklak ng ketchup! pero wag ka, ang kikinis nila diba? (yun nga lang, medyo mabaho yung iba)
9. at lastly, wag kakain kapag: galit na galit, heartbroken at dismayado sa sarili at mundo. aw c’mon, talo ka na nga, magpapataba ka pa!wag sisihin ang sarili, kasi baka mahina lang metabolism mo.
10. isiping mabuti na hindi lahat ito ay epektib sa lahat ng tao, and yun ang guarantee ko sa inyo. may mga kilala ako, na mas sobra pa magdiet sakin, but still they end up heavier than me. kung hiyang ka sa stress, hehe mahirap to. but this will definitely shed a couple of pounds siguro.
I’m trying to avoid some of this, I’m starting to eat a lot, and always think of what will I eat next. kinakalaban ko kasi ung metabolism kong sobrang lakas.
nice tips.. tamang tama, am on a slimming regiment para magkasya sa costume ko for december.
Teka.. kasama ba talaga ung 10? Kasi nakalagay sa 9 lastly.. La lang, just my 2 centavos

Somehow, nakakapagpabuo yung cold drinks sa mga fats kaya ayun, imbes na maflush out sa ating body, mas nahihirapang idigest dahil nabuo sila at nag-aaccumulate kung saan-saan sa katawan natin haha.
Yung hot tea naman, exact opposite. Helps in the “melting” of the fats, and thus, makes it easier for the body to metabolize it instead of being stored.
Saka exercise hahaha!

Kahit konting kain lang, tataba pa din kasi may abnormality sa food energy conversion dahil nga sa virus na iyon. (See link) hehe.
Naalala ko lang, sabi sa ‘kin ng pinsan ko. Kasing payat daw ako ng mom ko nung bata pa siya. Follow up question ni pinsan: “Nakikita mo na ba ang future mo?” hehe. =]
