Ahoy! hobby enthusiasts and collectors! although I’m not a collector of anything or a full-time geek, except maybe for my old GhostFighter and GundamWing teks (amf, what a lame collection), I enjoyed this convention. lots of stuff too see, and the stuff I particularly enjoyed was the celebrity vintage photos and other retro stuff!
The collections range from the nice, and very well-maintained comic book issues, manga (back issues of shonen jump and japanese text books), RCs, figures, and much more! On the contrary, I’m not aware of this event, but it’s a nice surprise!
there’s so much stuff to see, some of my favorites were:
- Anime media stuff: I got a maskman episode cd! (thanks jep!)
- Vintage stuff: I was looking for an old bruce lee poster, but I was unfortunate. boohoo. want..bruce…lee..
- Cosplay of: batman, joker (picture with him will be posted later.), Darth Vader, and the all-white soldier from star-wars (sorry,I can’t remember the name).
- Lots and lots of people with DSLR cameras: Man, that camera thing trend is so expensive, but I still want one too!
- RCs that could drift! :am I the last person on earth that these RCs can do that? I hope not. T_T..
- geeky, but cute guys!

I think it’s cool for a woman who’s into mecha and Ghostfighter hehehe… I remember i tried to collect GundamWing action figures during highschool (those kits where you have to assemble the action figure..such a pain really). I only managed to collect 2 and assemble them because my baby cousin always destroys them when I was away to study in my college years.
Anyway enough talking about me… speaking of the convention…
I’m very regretful we didn’t have the chance to have a pic with Darth Vader during that time (where’d he go to anyway..? right?) he mysteriously disappeared along with his bunch of clone trooper minions when we’re about to take a picture with him
(if you wanna know what those all-white soldiers of Vader’s, I think they’re called clone troopers). Si Darth Vader pa naman ang favorite Star Wars character ko (2nd si Yoda) hehe.
Yeah there were really cool stuff in the convention..especially the animes and sentai dvds. Brings back childhood memories. Did you happen to watch Maskman already? Is it true that the dvd was up to the ending? was the ending good? I’m curious hehehe.
The retro stuff.. i remember the old P10 bill worth P100..WTF!! I think i still have a couple of that bill stashed away at home. I wonder if i could use to buy stuff worth P100. lol
Also the drifting RC cars… man, i couldn’t forget that. Hope the guys controlling those RCs can also do it in real cars (if so, i’d worship them!! joke). lol.
It’s really quite the surprise we stumbled at an event like that by accident..really. I had such a nice time then that time managed to fly by so fast that day.. It was really worth it..I swear. Ang galing mo talaga mamili ng lugar! bilib ako sayo.
