As originally, hindi kasi widget-friendly ang notepad-chaos na theme. using my other old-widget-friendly themes as a base for my overnight kinaadikan, I tried to do it. sa pamamagitan ng walang humpay na copy-paste,google, at trial and error, I finally came up with this stuff. Ok. so this is the other side of the story. First was to cross post wordpress to multiply and blogger. But friendster is another thing. Friendster Blogs are cool, but they are way way behind in terms of efficiency, design and usability. In fact, multiply blogs are better.

Since I’ve been into WordPress, I’ve been fascinated by its’ sheer powers. Plugins, widgets, everything. Now that I’ve got almost everything that I wanted, it’s time to publish it. But how? This is where RSS comes into play.

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. According to my own rss-noob understanding, it this feature automatically gets your latest and recent entries from blogs, forums and other RSS-suported websites. So, what’s friendster gonna do with that?

In the past, friendster allowed RSS in their profile accounts. Well, it wasn’t as popular so they took it off and still no one noticed. But now that I needed that feature, so, how do I do it?

1. Log-in to your feedburner account.(recommended)
2. make sure that feedburner validates your site. Usually, accepted sites are those that has xml-stuff, no classic blogger templates here.
3. go to “My Feeds” and select animated headliners.
4. customize your animated headliners.
5. after saving, get the code by choosing “other(just gimme the code)”, a new window will appear with the code for animated headlines.
6. and lastly, copy the html code into your clip-board.

Next, the friendster stuff:

1. Log in to your account and go to your profile.
2. go to edit profile and go to whatever field that accepts html as input. paste your animated headliners.
3. save. and preview your profile.
4. that’s it!

Next, the Multiply stuff

1. Log in to your account and customize your site, for me, I’ve put the animated headline code into the welcome box.
2. save.
3. preview.
